Financing & Incentives Guide

Electrify ABC offers straightforward financing from trusted community lender Self-Help Credit Union. This financing package is exclusively available for Electrify Asheville-Buncombe program participants.

Financing for a variety of energy-saving improvements, including:

• Energy efficiency upgrades, including using up to 30% of the loan for electrical or other non-energy efficiency home improvements. (These can include plumbing, painting, and other things to improve home comfort.)
• Heat pump hot water heaters
• Air sealing and insulation
• Energy-saving projects for mobile homes

All approved Electrify Asheville-Buncombe Contractors are eligible to offer the unique financing that is available through Self-Help Credit Union and with improved rates made possible by Buncombe County.

• Loans will be disbursed directly to contractors after the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the client, passes inspection, and the certificate of completion is returned to both Self-Help Credit Union and financing@electrifyABC.com
• Contractors will receive notification of the loan approval along with the borrower and the Electrify Asheville-Buncombe campaign. This email will also contain the certificate of completion.
